The OEP period begins January 1st and ends on March 31st. During the OEP, an existing Medicare Advantage policyholder can switch their Medicare advantage plan and/or cancel their enrollment in their Medicare Advantage plan to return to Original Medicare and enroll in a Medicare Part D plan.
